 The Microtek Wound Drainage Systems are available both as a closed- (drain fixed to a fluid collection bag) and as a dual- ( drain separate from fluid collection bag) system.
The closed system has a 350 ml fluid collection bag , the dual system has a 1500 ml fluid collection bag. Both bags have a anti-reflux valve to prevent contamination and outlet.
Both systems are available in combination with silicon wound drains from French/Charriere 10 – 36.
The Wound Drainage Systems are double packed, sterile and can be disposed of safely.
